Preface...

We have reached the second half of 2023. The figures clearly show that exports and production are on the rise in 2023. Our growers and exporters are making progress. It is being worked on new countries and sales organizations in world markets. International fairs are going very strong. Aquaculture and processing technology in Turkey is developing a little more every year.

In the second half of 2023 economic balances and inflation need to be balanced. In aquaculture, new project areas and facilities need to be increased in our country. In addition they are expected to develop alternative species and value-added products.

A new international fair is coming with Sea Food Expo Eurasia at TUYAP fairground in Istanbul on December 7-9. In the fair that has been held in Petersburg, Russia for years, foreign companies coming from Europe and America are opening up to the world with the fair organized in Turkey by the Russian fair organization. As far as I see in the lists, I see that most of the companies in Brussels and Barcelona are included. I think that our country’s aquaculture sector will make good use of this chance. We will see a 20.000 square meter aquaculture fair in the 11th and 12th aisles at the TUYAP fairground. Our magazine group will take place in this international chain. Moreover, we are preparing for very special works in the 2023 publication year.
